Licensing Requirements

No prior experience is required. You need to be 18+, pass the written exam for your chosen category, and submit your application with the fee to the Ontario Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks.

Most students complete training in 4–8 weeks. After passing the exam, the Ministry typically processes licence applications within 2–4 weeks. Total timeline: approximately 6–12 weeks.

Class 7 Structural covers indoor pest control in residential and commercial buildings — the most common entry point for new pest control professionals. If you want to work for a pest control company or start your own residential/commercial service, Class 7 is the right choice.

The exam fee is approximately $100–$150 CAD, and the licence application fee is approximately $100–$200 CAD depending on the category. Always verify current fees directly with the Ministry or the testing provider, as amounts can change.

Training & Courses

Yes — all course materials, video lessons, and live sessions are delivered in Mandarin Chinese. The official exam is in English only, so our courses also teach all key terminology in English, giving you both language fluency and exam readiness.

Yes — Foundations and Exam Prep are fully self-paced with lifetime access, so you can study whenever suits you. The Accelerator is a structured 2-week program with scheduled daily sessions, designed for students who want to complete quickly.

We may provide a course completion record for personal learning purposes. This is not a government licence and does not replace any official certification.

After payment, we will send course details, study materials, and class links by email or message. Courses may be delivered through online group sessions, Zoom coaching, PDF materials, and online practice tests.

Refund eligibility depends on the course type. Courses that have not started may be eligible for refund. Started group classes, one-on-one coaching, or delivered digital materials may not be fully refundable. Please refer to our Refund Policy for details.
